It makes clear calls. I dropped it about 4 feet onto concrete and it didn't break. The real test will be when I drop it out of a tree from 30 feet up. My last phone had gorilla Glass and it took that and worse. Hot molting metal spatter from a welder did that in.

We use this phone for field work in tough conditions. (Extreme heat, cold, rain or shine) In Texas our other phone will shut down in the heat. In Northern Canada where temps reach -30C, the phone needs to last 8 hours. We have yet to test this. My only suggestion would be a proper case with a hand strap for carrying and hanging on to while working. It's only a matter of time when the phone will be dropped. The hand strap would have to accommodate a glove as well. So far we have no complaints.

Performance: quick and responsive under significant load (browser, MS Office, Auth, GMail, Teams, online banking, AI reader, music player, Pluralsight player, SSHhelper, recording video, switching between apps).
Battery: lasts for 2-3 days under heavy load with screen on for prolonged periods. Light use (2-3h per day) = 1 week. Super-fast charge as good as in spec.
Memory: impressive internal memory, supports 512Gb card.
Appearance / size: comes with additional shell, which brings the size to almost WP15 (my previous phone). Without shell looks nice and fits in some holders and pockets. Dropped once from 1m (pushed off desk), no damage.
Immersed in water for short period - no damage
Overall impression: great phone for people who can not look after the phone like a premium toy, but want to make use of it when needed without worry for battery or damage.

Had it for 3 weeks now, no bugs or hiccups. I think the thickness doesn't include the camera bump, but still it's 'thin' given the battery size. Also the weight is no issue, I'm used to it already and don't even notice it in my pocket. I'm not a gamer, but performance is excellent on all the apps I do use (browser, maps with GPS, camera, YouTube, social media...) Comes with a protective TPU case, but didn't need it. Got into a minor motorcycle accident with it inside my jacket, not a scratch. The Oukitel launcher/skin is pretty basic but meets my needs, though I don't know why they didn't just use the standard Android launcher. Very happy with this phone, and amazed at the price.
